    Default DE08 leaving black marks on clothes

    I have a 6 yr old DE08 dryer that is leaving random black grease-like marks on our clothes. Random as in 1 shirt may have it and then nothing for a couple of loads and then a towel or sheet has it. This has been going on for a couple of months. We just replaced our FP GWL11 Washer with a different brand but no its not related to the washer.

    What you will want to check is the condition of the upper bearing support.
    There are 4 slides that the drum surface rides on. They tend to wear after years of use, which is normal. However, if the dryer is continued to be used in this condition, eventually the slides will be worn away and the drum starts to wear away at the actual bearing retainer.
