Default Removing the drum bearing from drum shaft

Hi - I ordered the WE3M26KIT Front Load Repair Kit which I expect to arrive shortly to fix my DG05-US1 dryer. One piece included in the kit is the drum bearing. In order to replace this, there is a need to remove what appears to be a nylon retainer/bushing at the tip of the shaft. I have not been able to determine how to remove this - does the end of the shaft unscrew? If so, right hand thread or left? If not, how is the retainer removed for bearing replacement? Thanks.

The bearing will pop off the shaft, use a thin flatblade screwdriver or putty knife to get between the bearing's edge and the drum shaft and with a small amount of force it should pop right off the shaft...
